Present Perfect Tense adalah kombinasi gramatikal dari present tense dan perfect aspect yang digunakan untuk mengekspresikan peristiwa masa lalu yang memiliki konsekuensi masa kini.

Istilah ini digunakan terutama dalam konteks tata bahasa Inggris untuk merujuk pada bentuk seperti “I have finished“.
Kalimat Verbal
Untuk membentuk kalimat verbal Present Perfect Tense dengan model kalimat positive, negative, dan interrogative yaitu dengan menggunakan rumus berikut ini:
Present Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu peristiwa, kejadian atau perbuatan yang terjadi dan masing ada hubungannya dengan waktu sekarang, biasanya ditandai dengan keterangan already, just, yet, since, for, lately, these weeks/ month, so far, till now, recently.
Contoh :
- I have written an application letter this morning. (Aku sudah menulis surat lamaran pagi ini.)
- I have not written an application letter. (Aku belum menulis surat lamaran.)
- Have I written an application letter this morning? (Sudahkah aku menulis surat lamaran pagi ini?)

Kalimat Nominal

Contoh :
- She has been here since 8 o’clock. (Aku sudah ada di sini sejak pukul 8.)
- She has not being ger for the hours. (Dia belum ada disini selama sepuluh jam.)
- Has she been here since 8 o’clock? (Sudahkah dia di sini sejak pukul 8?)
